Tim Russert dies at 58

Tim Russert, a political lifer who made a TV career of his passion with unrelenting questioning of the powerful and influential, died of a heart attack Friday in the midst of a presidential campaign he’d covered with trademark intensity. Praise poured in from the biggest names in politics, some recalling their own meltdown moments on his hot seat.

I’ve watched his show from time to time and he always seemed like a stand up guy.

Arctic Chill coming

Right now, the temperature in Lombard is a chilly 11 degrees.  Tomorrow it’s not even going to get above 15 with below zero temps in the forecast for tomorrow night.

Spring can’t come soon enough; on the plus side my Sigma lens arrives tomorrow.

I’ve purchased a Sigma 17-70 lens today from Sigma4Less. When it arrives I’ll post a bunch of examples on here.

A blustery day..

Today’s another dreary day in Illinois with temps hovering in the 30s.

My father decided to put up the Christmas decorations on the house and I went to help him set everything up. I decided to bring the dogs along to enjoy the weather in their new coats.  As I’m writing this it’s starting to sleet.

Up another $100

I’m up another $100 for chasing next year; currently at $525.45.

I’m also trying to improve my photography/video skills by improving the quality/sharpness levels.
